Sue Stockdale’s latest book celebrating her adventures
Sue Stockdale’s adventures began in 1988 when she got the chance to take part in an Operation Raleigh expedition to Kenya. That expedition changed her life and caused her to realise that she had more potential than she had previously thought.
Over the next few years Sue had many adventures. In 1994 she worked in a war zone for a year. In 1996 she became the First British woman to ski to the Magnetic North Pole. Following this, Sue participated in expeditions to Antarctica, Chile, Geographical North Pole and Greenland.
These journeys have made me realise that you don’t have to go to a remote part of the world to have an adventure – you can be adventurous every single day of your life – it’s about your mindset and what you believe is possible.
To the Limits….and Beyond is Sue Stockdale’s latest book to celebrate her last 25 years of adventuring. It features 28 full-colour pages from her expeditions to Kenya, Magnetic North Pole, Antarctica, Geographical North Pole, Chile and Greenland. It is a wonderful coffee-table book for the armchair traveller.
